Foundation Repair – Pier & Beam Installation
Diagnosing The Repair
As you can see from the image above, there are lots of signs and symptoms indicating a structural issue. These signs can vary from apparent to minuscule. From what we typically see in the field, the most commons signs of a foundation or structural issue include:
- Cracks along the walls of the home
- Cracks in the concrete slabs of your driveway or floor
- Doors out of level and not shutting properly
- Windows out of level and not providing proper insulation
- Settling and lowering of your foundation
- Broken pipes or flooding and bubbling in your yard (due to rise in underground water)

Services You Can Afford
Believe it or not, our services are more affordable than you might typically guess. For the purpose of this article, our customer paid only $5,600 to repair their foundation. This included a complete Beam & Pier installation beneath the home.
To complete our repair, we used Flat Pads & Hydraulic Jacks to lift the home. Once the home is supported 100% by our hydraulic jacks – we lift it to a uniform line so as not to put any stress on any one part of structure. – Nathan Moore
Repairs That Last
As stated above, this particular job required a Pier & Beam installation. We offered our home owner a 3-year warranty on our workmanship. If at any time, the customer has any issues with the installation within the 3 year warranty, Advocate will come out and assess/adjust as needed. That being said, it is the customer’s responsibility to maintain around the property i.e., soil, maintenance, guttering, and any water diversion required to maintain the conditions under the house.
